Formed in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor, Malaysia in July 2007. The founding members are Aizat and Faris (ex- Infinite Delay). They hanged out and jammed together with several other close friends after completing university. The name KELADAK came from a conversation among them about coffee and sludge. The foundation of the band was to be an art rock act, which is during that time they were much influenced by CAN, Captain Beefheart and Acid Mothers Temple. KELADAK have had quite a few line-up changes during their tenure. Faris left in 2012. Early intention to becoming an art rock act did not happen as intended when the guys besides the founding members whom joined later couldn't cut it because of musical preferences were too aliened for them; at one phase during early gigs, the musical direction inclined to folk and blues music (2009-2010); and after releasing two demos since 2011 up until now, argument and discussion among members led to heavy, psychedelic, progressive and noise rock / metal element as they hails and praise Iommi's downer riffings, early Black Flags DIY ethos and Buzzo's experimental approaches.
